MEVA Box-outs – Easier working, lower labour costs
MEVA's box-out solutions offer the unbeatable advantages of easy handling coupled with high speed and precision during formwork assembly and stripping.
In next to no time, four box-out corners can be fitted as a box-out set. They allow for flexible use with plywood pieces of different lengths. The attachment of chamfer strips to the formwork is recommended for the best possible results.

Boxing out in next to no time
The complete box-out set with plywood is fitted to the formwork along with the chamfer strips. The door spindles serve to resist the fresh concrete pressure. The formwork is closed and filled with concrete. The remaining operations take no time at all: the formwork and door spindles are released, wedges opened and the plywood pieces removed.
Simple and flexible
MEVA box-out corners can accommodate everything from small door spindles to large EuMax props. The box-out lengths and widths are a function of the plywood lengths. Standard wall thicknesses of 20, 24, 25 and 30 cm are available – other wall thicknesses can be supplied upon request. Even the use of alkus all-plastic form facings is possible.
The entire box-out is opened and closed by operating the four box-out corners with the captive MEVA wedges – already a familiar feature of the assembly locks. The box-out corners are screwed to the plywood pieces and locked in place by the integral wedges to ensure that nothing is lost.
MEVA Stop-end systems – Time-saving and reliable

The easy-to-use brace brackets are available in two sizes. The SK 80 brace bracket allows the formation of stop-ends up to a height of 80 cm. The SK 150 brace bracket is used for ground slab stop-ends with a thickness of up to 150 cm. Both models allow for continuous adjustment for inclinations of up to 15°, making them suitable for use on sloping slabs. The brackets can be folded up for space-efficient storage and easy transportation.

Time-saving and reliable MEVA Stop-end systems
MFS stop-end brackets for slab cantilevers
MFS stop-end brackets simplify and speed up the construction of cantilever slabs up to 40 cm thick with a cantilever length of 50 cm. The brackets allow continuous height adjustment to ensure reliable positioning of the stop-end form. The slab edges are then formed with MEVA formwork panels, 3S plywood, alkus facings (see above) or planks.
Stop-end rail for vertical slab edge stop-end formwork
The stop-end rail (with anchor sleeve and DW 15 anchor) offers a fast and cost-effective solution for forming the edges of all suspended slabs up to 60 cm thick. It can be used in conjunction with guard-railing posts, safety mesh or both. The guard-railing posts simply push-fit into the stop-end rail.
Stop-end brackets to form end of concrete pours
These stop-end brackets enable the quick, simple and reliable formation of stop-ends for walls. Brackets are available for frame profile thicknesses of 23, 40 and 60 mm.
Maximum all-round safety

The light-weight multi-purpose safety mesh
The mesh is made of high-density steel. It has an exceptional force resistance of 500 kg. The closed metal sheet at the bottom and its bent top and bottom ends also prevent small parts from falling. Its reinforced edges make the safety mesh very sturdy. The safety mesh is railing, toeboard and mesh at the same time.
The safety mesh comes in lengths of 2.6 m and 1.3 m. It fulfills the requirements as defined by the European standard EN 13374, classes A, B and C.
MFS shoe universal
As fall protection systems are only ever as good as their supporting construction, a sound base connection is essential. In conjunction with the MEVA guarding-rail posts and safety mesh, the MFS shoe universal ensures dependable all-round fall protection. A secure construction is achieved through use of the tried-and tested DW 15/100 spiral anchor or the DW 15 quick anchor, attached with a flange screw 12.

MEVA's intelligent and wide-ranging anchor solutions for single- and double-sided assemblies ensure fast, straightforward and reliable attachment of panels, tie rods and MEVA stop-ends.
MEVA's anchor solutions offer easy handling and versatile use for applications including:

Quick anchor – Reliable, reusable & long-lasting
The DW 15 quick anchor is suitable for both ground and suspended slabs. It is ideal for installing safe anchorings with the flange screw 18 or DW 15 tie rod for braces, shoes for safety mesh, single-sided propping and a wide range of other uses.
These water stops provide reliable protection against water pressure, as certified by Materials Testing Institute (MPA) at University of Stuttgart. When used as a lost internal part in conjunction with DW 15 or DW 20 tie rods and with a high maximum load capacity (90 / 160 kN), the water stop ensures absolutely watertight tie holes.
Robust and practical, the galvanised uni-tie claw is ideal for tying above or beside panels with 40 and 60 mm frame profile thicknesses, and fits the DW 15 and DW 20 tie rods.
Articulated flange nuts
MEVA articulated flange nuts are available for the standard DW 15 and DW 20 threads. The smart ball joint caters for inclinations of up to 10°. The maximum load capacity totals 90 kN or 160 kN. 120 mm- and 140 mm-diameter plates reduce wear on the panel coatings.
Foundation tape and tensioners
Foundations or small walls can be quickly and easily cast without conventional tying components in the concrete. Here, the formwork is placed on the foundation tape and connected up by means of any standard foundation tensioner. MEVA offers tensioners for 23, 40 and 60 mm frame profile thicknesses.
Made from red plastic, the DW 15 nailable connector for fair-faced concrete is used to attach DW 15 anchor sleeves to the facing.
Secure tying of panels for double-sided formwork and reliable transmission of forces from support frames to the foundation: the tie rods offer a maximum load capacity of 90 kN for DW 15, 160 kN for DW 20 and 250 kN for DW 26.5.
Everything your all-plastic facings need for a long service life
A model of ingenuity, the alkus all-plastic facing – fitted as standard in MEVA's formwork systems – is easy to repair and, if properly applied and maintained, will deliver a high-quality concrete finish even after many years of heavy use.
Repair kit alkus
The alkus all-plastic facing is repairable with the same material.
Surface damage, drill holes and scratches can be removed on site, thereby ensuring the continued achievement of a uniformly smooth concrete finish while saving time and money. The repair kit contains all tools and accessories needed for expert, on-the-spot facing repairs. Detailed guidelines are available explaining the exact procedure.
The cleaning effort needed for facings is further reduced by using rotation cleaners fitted with abrasive discs, cleaning grids and cleaning pads that simplify the removal of concrete and release agent residue.
Even fine scratch marks and nail hole protrusions are evened out. This speeds up the redeployment of formwork panels while ensuring the consistent delivery of a uniform, homogeneous concrete finish.
MEVA offers release agents to meet diverse requirements.
They are uniformly and sparingly applied with spray equipment as a cost-effective, resource-efficient, though no less reliable solution for protecting the form face.
This results in low concrete adhesion during stripping, minimises the cleaning effort and guarantees top-class concrete surfaces.
