You can depend on Triplex

A plant extension scheme for Paul Hafner GmbH, a specialist in toolmaking and stamping technology, necessitated the construction of an approx. 19 m high dividing wall. Given the distance of only several centimetres from an existing factory hall, the design team opted to build the wall with prefabricated units for fire safety reasons.

As the dividing wall rises high above the neighbouring building, it was exposed to high wind loads that required safe transmission to the ground. The stringent requirements led Armin Gruler, technical site manager and proprietor of Gruler Bau GmbH, to seek MEVA's expert assistance. "The biggest challenge was the extreme length of the bracing," explains Florian Seckinger, project supervisor for Gebrüder Stumpp GmbH & Co. KG. "That's why we needed MEVA's Triplex solution," adds Armin Gruler.

Heavy-duty bracing 17 m high
The Triplex heavy-duty bracing system is delivered in modules for on-site assembly to the required length. This makes it ideal for supporting and aligning formwork at heights exceeding 6 m. On this project the braces were fixed to the prefabricated units at heights of 11.69 and 17.04 m, thus providing stability to the dividing wall at a great height.

You can depend on Triplex
Triplex is a tried-and-tested system. A project in the town of Tuttlingen, some 30 km away, had similar requirements. Here, contractor Georg Schwarz GmbH likewise opted for the use of MEVA's reliable Triplex heavy-duty braces.
